Thanks for the reply. I had not heard of Untangle and just took a look at their website. Their service does not seem to have the features to support our complex load balancing requirements. It appears that the load balancing can only be done by directing a percentage of traffic to each WAN. Our requirements are more sophisticated than that. Did I mis-read their website?
Do you think we might be better to consider splitting the requirements into multiple devices? I am trying to keep the managment and maintenance as simple as possible -- which is why I was thinking I should stick with an all-in-one solution like our current Watchguard.
I don't think you misread it. I don't believe it has the proper ability to load balance well. I utilize Peplink devices outside of my Untangle boxes for that purpose.
